- Cardada-Cimetta: Panoramic trekking above Lake Maggiore, typical ticinese dinner at Grotto Broggini, Losone
- Cardada Cimetta (1400...1700 m a/s) is only 30 minutes above Locarno
and offers a spectacular 360o panoramic view over Lake Maggiore.
On clear days, the Italian border and the main peaks of our region can be
seen. In winter Cimetta is a skiing resort for the local people.
This trip is ideal for hiking lovers with a spectacular panorama (good
weather). Sports/hiking shoes are highly recommended.

15:00 departure by chair lift or hike to Cimetta, opt. Cima della Trosa (1900 m)

Bellinzona: Visit of the castles (UNESCO Cultural Heritage) and of the old town, dinner at the Grotto Broggini, Losone
- Bellinzona is a medieval town partly fortified, known for its 3
castles which belong to UNESCOs cultural heritage since 2000.
Particularly attractive is Castelgrande, renovated in 1984..1991 by one
of the most important architects of Ticino, Aurelio Galfetti. The
castle can be reached in a few minutes from the town, either by
elevator or on foot; it also includes a museum and video.
This trip meets historical and architectural interest (non
conservative renovation).
